Sacraments Baptism is the sacrament of faith by which people
accept Christ’s call to salvation. The newly baptized are incorporated
into Christ and the People of God. They obtain forgiveness of all their
sins and become a “new creation” through water and the Holy Spirit. Sacrament

Baptismal Preparation Class This class is for parents and godparents. It is held on the first and third Sunday of the month at 1:30PM in the side chapel of the church. Please bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate. If you have any questions, please contact the rectory.

The sacrament of Penance is a sign of Christ’s abiding healing power offered to each member of the Church community. In this sacrament we can be brought back into communion with Christ and the Church community. A true act of reconciliation takes place when there has truly been a change in our moral attitude.

The Eucharist is a sacrament of our faith that awakens our awareness of Christ’s redemptive work. It conditions us to identify with His sacrificial love. It is also a sacrament of Christ’s redeeming power, reconciling us to God. Through it we become a vital Church community, enabling us to be moral and spiritual witnesses to the world .
The Catholic Church teaches the real and substantial presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Adoration of the Eucharist and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament are special expressions of faith in the real presence.

Confirmation is a sacrament in which we ratify the promises made at Baptism to be committed to the Gospel of Christ and to membership to the people of God. The Holy Spirit is given to us in a very special way in Confirmation. We receive a spiritual sign or seal that makes us more like Jesus and deepens our commitment to the Church. The sacrament of Marriage is a personal relationship of life-giving love in which two people make the love of Christ present to each other and become a sign of the love of Christ to those around them.
Couples who wish to be married at Our Lady of Angels should contact the rectory at least six months prior to their preferred wedding date to make an appointment with a member of the clergy. Various parish and diocesan Pre-Cana programs are available for the couples. Please click here for information regarding Pre-Cana preparation.
This sacrament is designed to give comfort to the sick and to help them to reconcile themselves to God and the Church community. In addition, it serves to help the person to have a strong, positive faith attitude and assists in physical, mental and spiritual healing.
Anointing of the Sick Following the 8:30am Mass on First Saturday of each month.
In the sacrament of Holy Orders, Christ calls bishops, priests and deacons to share his priesthood. When ordained the candidates accept the call from Christ and the Church to be mediators between God and humanity. Priests agree to be ministers and servants of Christ.
